Ricoh Superia Summer - Film Recipe for Ricoh GR III and GR IIIx
Ricoh Superia Summer Film - Ricoh GR III Film Simulation
It has been a little while since I created a new film simulation for my Ricoh GR III. I’ve been photographing with my micro four thirds cameras a lot this summer, and the Ricoh hasn’t gotten as much attention. That said, every time I come back to the Ricoh, I’m refreshed by its size and image quality. Its a reliable camera with reliable image quality that can be taken anywhere in my pocket. Its a thing of beauty, and I still love it after several years of owning it.
I’ve been trying for a while to come up with a recipe using Ricoh’s Bleach Bypass picture profile. It isn’t my favorite of Ricoh’s offerings, but I always felt it had untapped potential. Today I’m releasing Ricoh Superia Summer Film, which uses Bleach Bypass as a base. The Sample photographs were taken in the heat of summer in Greece and Albania, and I believe they faded beauty of the sun washed coast.
The colors are straight out of camera JPEGs, and the colors have not been edited.
I hope you enjoy the recipe!
