Negative Film GOLD - New Film Recipe on Ricoh GR III and GR IIIx

A new week, a new film simulation for the Ricoh GR III. I’ve enjoyed making these recipes over the past month and I intend on continuing. In the upcoming month, I plan to create a new page on this website devoted to film recipes so people can find the information quickly and easily.

This week, I used the new Negative Film picture profile Ricoh just released with Firmware 1.7 and tweaked it slightly. I input a custom white balance, added some saturation, and shifted the colors towards the warm magentas. I’ve entitled this recipe Negative Film Gold.

You can find the recipe below. If you don’t know how to input a film recipe into your Ricoh GR III, I wrote and article and created a video explaining the process.

I’ve made the film recipe free as a way to give back to the Ricoh community. I hope you enjoy it. If you try the recipe and upload to Instagram, tag your photos #RicohFilmRecipes… I would love to see your work!

Enjoy!
