Classic Chrome… but Better - Ricoh GR III
Classic Chrome for the Ricoh GR III - Film Simulation
I guess this isn’t a very humble opinion, but I’ve always felt Fujifilm’s Classic Chrome film simulations could use some improvement. So, I created a film simulation for the Ricoh GR III that I prefer. Obviously, your tastes will very, and you may adore the traditional Classic Chrome. Either way, I thought I would share my creation with you for your exploration. This one has a cool white balance on the kelvin scale, but I’ve also tweaked the yellows and greens to balance the colors.
This film recipe is based on Ricoh’s Positive Film, but features an adjusted hue and ISO fixed at 400. I hope you like it!
These photos were all taken in Athens, Greece with my Ricoh GR III (28mm).
