Warm Spring Evening - Film Simulation for Ricoh GR III (GR IIIx)

Yesterday, I took my Ricoh GR III out for a walk on a warm spring evening. I tend to take my photo walks in the middle of the day when the light is harsh, but last night I hit the streets a bit after golden hour to test a new film simulation.

Warm Spring Evening features the rich gold colors of the setting sun and the cool blues of the early evening light.

The sample photos are straight-out-of-camera and the colors have not been edited in any way. These images were taken in La Marsa, Tunisia.

You can find the recipe below. If you donā€™t know how to input a film recipe into your Ricoh GR III, I wrote and article and created a video explaining the process.

Iā€™ve made the film recipe free as a way to give back to the Ricoh community. I hope you enjoy it. If you try the recipe and upload to Instagram, tag your photos #RicohFilmRecipesā€¦ I would love to see your work!

Enjoy!
