Natura 1600 Film - Free Downloadable Lightroom Preset
For the last few weeks, I’ve been working on a Lightroom preset inspired by Fujifilm Natura 1600. I can’t exactly describe what draws me to the colors of this film stock, but I’ve been enamored by it recently. I generally don’t like green tints in my images, but Natura 1600 seems to render them in a pleasant way. With the price of film sky-rocketing, and the used camera market being as hot as it is, I thought it was time to make a free preset to give people the vibes of some classic films without the expense.
The sample photos below take their inspiration from Natura 1600. They are not an exact match of the film, that wasn’t my intention. I just wanted to take some of the magic elements of Natura 1600 and include them in a digital preset.
Color Palette:
Desaturated blues, strong highlights, and a healthy dose of contrast. These small images are intended to give you a general idea of the colors produced by this Natura 1600 preset.

The downloadable file is in the “.xmp” file format for use in Adobe Lightroom. Please let me know if you encounter any problems.

These photos were not edited except for a few exposure tweaks (when I missed exposure in camera). The colors were not edited after the preset was applied. I do this because I want to give people a true sense of what the preset offers when applied to photos of differing scenes, colors, and lighting conditions.
