Candy Color 400 - Film Simulation for Ricoh GR III

I’ve been in the beautiful country of Tunisia the last few weeks and I’ve just finished testing a new film simulation for the Ricoh GR III and GR IIIx. I’m going to title this one Candy Color 400.

Candy Color 400 uses Ricoh’s Positive Film picture profile as a foundation and adds a healthy dose of saturation, contrast, and clarity. The white balance is shifted towards the magenta colors, which makes the blues and reds pop.

The sample photos were taken in La Marsa, Tunisia.

You can find the recipe below. If you don’t know how to input a film recipe into your Ricoh GR III, I wrote and article and created a video explaining the process.

I’ve made the film recipe free as a way to give back to the Ricoh community. I hope you enjoy it. If you try the recipe and upload to Instagram, tag your photos #CandyColor400… I would love to see your work!

Enjoy!
