Fuji Warm Spring - Fujifilm Film Recipe
A New Fujifilm Recipe - Fuji Warm Spring Film Simulation
I haven’t made as many Fujifilm recipes as I had planned to these last few months, mostly due to travelling and a busy work schedule. I finally had some free time this week to work on one and I’m really happy with how it turned out. Its finally spring time, so I wanted something warm and somewhat saturated to capture the new leaves and flowers.
I began with Classic Negative. Fujifilm describes Classic Negative as having “enhanced color with hard tonality to increase image depth.” Wanting to customize the recipe further, I adjusted the white balance to Daylight and shifted the red and blue balance (+4 Red and -4 Blue).
I do appreciate the healthy bit of contrast that Classic Negative provides, but I dialed it back just a touch with the highlight and shadow adjustments.
This recipe was made with my Fujifilm X-H2 and the 27mm f/2.8.
Color Palette for Fuji Warm Spring Film Simulation
The colors are warm with rich reds and rustic browns. Highlights and be borderline blown out, which I think gives the recipe an ethereal vibe. I’d be interested to try this film simulation with a diffusion filter like the black pro mist.
